Vivo India is
expected to unleash two new Y-series smartphones in India such as Vivo Y12
and Vivo Y15. These phones will be joining the Vivo Y17 smartphone that was
unveiled in India in the previous month with waterdrop-style notched screen and
5,000mAh battery. The specifications of the Vivo Y12 and Y15 have already
surfaced in the recent reports. Today, 91mobiles has claimed that the
Vivo Y12 will be releasing in the Indian markets with a price tag of Rs.
11,990.

Citing information
received from retail chain, the publication claims that the Vivo Y12 will be
arriving in India in two models such as 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM +
64 GB storage. These variants are expected to release with respective price tags
of Rs. 11,990 and Rs. 12,990. The exact launch date of the phone is not known
yet. However, it is believed that it will be available through offline stores
in the next few days.

The Vivo Y12 will be
arriving with a 6.35-inch Halo FullView display that features a small notch. it
will carry support for HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.3:9. The phone
is expected to offer a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent. The MediaTek Helio
P22 SoC with its 2.0 GHz octa-core processor is likely to fuel the smartphone.
The handset will
boot to the FunTouch OS 9 UI based Android 9 Pie OS. It will be arriving as the
cheapest triple camera smartphone from a mainstream brand. It is expected to
include an 8-megapixel f/2.2 aperture sensor, a 13-megapixel f/2.2 aperture
lens and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 aperture sensor. For shooting selfies, it will be
fitted with an f/2.0 aperture 8-megapixel AI camera. For security, the Vivo Y12
is expected to arrive with fingerprint scanner and face unlock features.
