While the initial idea of starting up for Majety was around solving logistics problems, he ended up building an on-demand delivery solution that delivers food from restaurants. Today, Swiggy is a Unicorn and a one of the largest players in the place.

A young IIT grad, Aggarwal started Ola in 2011 and has today led it to become one of the world's biggest ride-hailing companies. Born in Ludhiana, after a stint at Microsoft, Aggarwal’s orginal idea was to start a tech platform, Olatrips.com, to book cabs for outstation trips.

Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal is at number six in the list. With a net worth of Rs 5,500 crore, the 36-year old entrepreneur has been one of the poster boys for the Indian startup ecosystem. The billionaire entrepreneur, who co-founded e-commerce platform Flipkart, was recently recognised as distinguished alumni by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. Bansal, who graduated from the prestigious institution in 2005, is the youngest alumni to be awarded this year for his "outstanding contribution made in entrepreneurship". Bansal who left his role as CEO of Flipkart last year, is firming up plans to launch a venture capital (VC) fund with a target corpus of $300-400 million.
