Korean smartphone company Samsung is reportedly working on a new smartphone
under the Galaxy M series-- Samsung Galaxy M40. Meanwhile, the company has
announced open sale availability for Samsung Galaxy M30 in India. Till now, the
handset could be purchased via flash sales only. After the latest announcement,
the smartphone can be purchased 24x7 on Amazon and Samsung e-Shop.
To recall, Samsung
Galaxy M30 was launched in February this year. It is part of the company’s
Galaxy M series.
The
Samsung Galaxy M30 comes with a starting price of Rs 14,990 in India for the
base variant of 4GB RAM. There is another model which packs 6GB RAM and 128GB
internal storage. It retails at Rs 17,990.
Those
buying the smartphone via Amazon can avail 5% instant discount on EMI
transactions made using the Axis Bank credit and debit cards. There is also an
exchange discount of up to Rs 12,000.
Samsung Galaxy M30: Specifications
Samsung
Galaxy M30 comes with a triple-lens camera setup at the back. The setup
comprises of 13-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel secondary sensor and a
5-megapixel sensor on the rear panel. For selfies, users will get a
16-megapixel camera at the front.
The
handset is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Exynos 7904 processor and packs 4GB/6GB
of RAM. Samsung Galaxy M30 comes in two storage variants - 64GB and 128GB which
is expandable up to 512GB using micro-SD card.
The smartphone runs on Samsung Experience 9.5 UI based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and comes with
a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity U display with Full HD+ resolution. Samsung
Galaxy M30 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with Fast Charging
support and comes with 15W Type-C adapter out-of-the-box. Colour options
include Gradation Blue and Gradation Black.
