ONE PLUS 3T GET ANDROID 9.0

smartphone maker OnePlus has finally started rolling out stable Android
Pie update for OnePlus
3 and OnePlus
3T smartphones
with OxygenOS 9.0.2. Both the smartphones were launched in 2016 Android
Marshmallow out-of-the-box. This is the third time that the smartphones are
getting a major software update after Android Nougat and Android Oreo.
As announced earlier
the company will be giving security updates to both the smartphones till
November 2019. The Android Pie update weighs 1.6GB in size and also brings
along with April security patch. The company also said that it a gradual roll
out and will soon reach all the users.
With Android Pie on
board both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will get features like New system
navigation, Smart Text Selection, Redesigned Quick Settings, Simplified Volume
Controls, New Dashboard, App Timer, New Do Not Disturb mode and Wind Down
feature.
To recall, OnePlus 3
sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. OnePlus 3
is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor, carries a 3,000mAh battery under the
hood and comes in 6GB+64GB of RAM and storage variant. The smartphone has 16-megapixel
rear camera with a Sony IMX298 sensor (f/2.0 aperture) while it houses an
8-megapixel camera at the front.
The OnePlus 3T, on
the other hand, comes powered with a Snapdragon 821 SoC and is backed by a
3,400mAh battery. Like the OnePlus 3, it also sports a 5.5-inch full HD display
with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The smartphone was offered in two RAM and
storage variants: 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. The OnePlus 3T features a
16-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX298 sensor( f/2.0 aperture). On the
front, there’s a 16-megapixel selfie snapper.
